Join us at Primrose Organic Produce for Open Farm Sunday, a relaxed day of food, farming and seasonal growing at Lymburghs Farm.
We’ll be open from 10am–4pm, with a farm walk with Jim at 11am, a BBQ from 12pm, and a vegetable and chicken walk with Gilla at 2pm.
Come and meet the team, see what’s growing in the market garden, learn more about our organic farming system, and enjoy food and drink from the farm shop and café, including organic beer, wine and cider.
We’ll also have fresh organic beef available in the shop that weekend.
Please wear suitable footwear for uneven ground and farm tracks.
We’re launching monthly Volunteer Fridays at Primrose, starting 6th March, and running on the first Friday of every month from 9am - 1pm, run by our wonderful grower Annabel.
These are relaxed, friendly mornings where you can get stuck into some seasonal tasks, learn about growing veggies, fruit and flowers and enjoy a few hours outdoors with a good group of people.
No experience needed and no commitment, come along as often or as little as you like.
What to expect:
• Practical help with veg, flowers & general growing
• Fresh air and a change of pace
• A welcoming, informal atmosphere
• Barista coffee & hot drinks provided
It’s a great way to pick up some hands-on skills, meet some new friends and learn about the land.
