The New Primrose Farm Shop & Café is Now Open!
After months of planning, plenty of determination, and more than a little sawdust, we’re thrilled to share that the brand-new Primrose Farm Shop and Café is officially open here at Lymburghs Farm, Marnhull.
This new space is so much more than a shop – we hope it will become a true community hub. A place to relax with friends over coffee and cake, pick up your weekly essentials, and enjoy the very best produce from our farm and local area.
On our shelves you’ll find:
- Organic produce – fresh vegetables, fruit, and eggs from our fields
- Farm-reared beef and mutton, proudly championed by Jim
- A carefully chosen selection of dry goods, household items, and local specialities from our favourite producers
Our café is open and serving excellent coffee, tea, and cakes – with a distinctly European flavour, reflecting Gilla and Ilona’s Germanic heritage. Expect special touches and continental treats alongside the classics, all served with a warm welcome and beautiful views across the Dorset countryside.
We’re especially proud of the space itself. The interior has been crafted entirely from Conygar Timber, built by a talented local carpenter whose skill has brought our vision to life.

While our doors are already open, we’re planning a proper celebration to mark this exciting new chapter. Join us on Saturday 11th October for our Grand Opening Party, featuring:
- A celebrity chef bringing something truly special to the table
- Live music throughout the day
- Plenty of epic food, drink, and local treats
- And lots more surprises to be revealed!

Thursdays: 2pm – 6pm
Fridays: 10am – 4pm
Saturdays: 10am – 4pm
